All-Star Fast Pitch Softball Coaches have been Selected!
Congratulations to the following Coaches who have been chosen to coach in the 2012 All-Star Fast Pitch Softball games:

4A, 5A, 6A South-- Sonya Wallace, North Pike
These games will be held June 8-9, 2012 at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, MS.

For this year ONLY, we will have two All Star Fast Pitch Softball teams: a team of Juniors (rising Seniors) and a team of Seniors (graduating May 2012). Please be sure to use the appropriate form. To nominate a JUNIOR player, click here. If you would like to nominate a SENIOR player, click here.
Please fax completed form to 601-924-3050. Players will NOT be selected unless the form is received in the MAC office by Wednesday, February 15. The Player Selection Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, 2012.

Important Change in All-Star Softball Games!
The Slow Pitch All-Star Game will be held on October 22, 2011 at Newton County High School. Players will report and play on Saturday. This game is for SENIORS only! If a player participates in this game, she will not be able to participate in the Senior Fast Pitch Games in June.

The Fast Pitch Games will take place in June, 2012. Plans are to have a SENIOR game and a Juniors game in 2012. The following year, we will have a Junior only Fast Pitch All-Star Game.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------Softball Guidelines................Must have been a member of the M.A.C. for at least three (3) consecutive years.Must have been a head coach in a MHSAA school for at least three (3) years.
Must have a lifetime winning record in Softball.
Must have been in State Playoffs at least once in last three (3) years.
Can only coach in one all-star game per year.
Must abide by the M.A.C. Code of Ethics.
Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
Each All-Star Coach will be given two (2) tickets to the game.
Each All-Star Coach will receive $100.00 honorarium.
Must have demonstrated by past performance that he/she will fulfill all commitments he/she made concerning his/her all-star player(s) as required and specified to by the M.A.C.
Recommendations for these All-Star Coaches come from M.A.C. Softball Committee based on nomination forms submitted by individual coaches; final approval by the M.A.C. Executive Committee.
II. Selection of Players:
Must be a senior graduating with her regular class.
Must respond to all dated material by the date requested.
Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
Must not be pregnant.
Must exhibit positive attitude to those in charge at all times.
Cannot wear earrings in practices or game.
Failure to comply with any of these guidelines will result in dismissal from team.
