2017 FAST PITCH SOFTBALL ALL-STARS HAVE BEEN SELECTED!

The 2017 All-Star Fast Pitch Softball Games (Juniors Only) will be played at Jones County Junior College (Ellisville, MS) on Friday, June 2 - Saturday, June 3, 2017; players will report Thursday, June 1. 

Admission will be $5; MAC Cards will be accepted.  Armbands will be available for sale at Friday's game that will be good for both days.

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Coaching Record Update Form must be electronically submitted no later than Wednesday, January 18, 2017To be considered for All-Star Fast Pitch Softball Coach, you must submit the Coaching Record Update Form 
  • All-Star Fast Pitch Softball Coaches will be selected on Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
  • Player Nomination forms must be electronically submitted by Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
  • All-Star Fast Pitch Sofball Player Selection will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017.
  • All-Star Player Participation Forms (to be submitted online) & School Physical (fax to 601-924-3050) are due back by Thursday, March 16.
  • Ads are due no later than Thursday, March 23.
  • All-Stars will report Thursday, June 1, 2017.  Reporting Instructions will be available 2 weeks prior to game day; be sure to check the website at that time to download them.
  • The 2017 All-Star Fast Pitch Softball Games will be played Friday, June 2 - Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Jones County Junior College (Ellisville, MS).  Admission will be $5; MAC Cards will be accepted.  Armbands will be available for sale at Friday's game that will be good for both days.
    • Friday, June 2:  
      • 5:00 PM- 1A/2A/3A Game 1
      • 6:45 PM- Player Introductions & Presentation of State Championship plaques
      • 7:00 PM- 4A/5A/6A Game 1
    • Saturday, June 3:
      • 10:00 AM- 1A/2A/3A Game 2
      • 12:00 Noon- 4A/5A/6A Game 2

 


Be sure to review the guidelines to ensure that your players are eligible.

Softball Guidelines

  • Must have been a member of the M.A.C. for at least three (3) consecutive years.
  • Must have been a head coach in a MHSAA school for at least three (3) years.
  • Must have a lifetime winning record in Softball.
  • Must have been in State Playoffs at least once in last three (3) years.
  • Can only coach in one all-star game per year.
  • Must abide by the M.A.C. Code of Ethics.
  • Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
  • Each All-Star Coach will be given two (2) tickets to the game.
  • Each All-Star Coach will receive $100.00 honorarium.
  • Must have demonstrated by past performance that he/she will fulfill all commitments he/she made concerning his/her all-star player(s) as required and specified to by the M.A.C.
  • Recommendations for these All-Star Coaches come from M.A.C. Softball Committee based on nomination forms submitted by individual coaches; final approval by the M.A.C. Executive Committee.

II. Selection of Players:

  • Must be a senior graduating with her regular class in good standing with MHSAA.
  • Must respond to all dated material by the date requested.
  • Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
  • Must not be pregnant.
  • Must exhibit positive attitude to those in charge at all times.
  • Cannot wear earrings in practices or game.
  • Failure to comply with any of these guidelines will result in dismissal from team.
