The 2019 All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Games will be played at Mack Fanning Field (Newton County High School) in Decatur, MS on Saturday, October 26, 2019.  Players will report on Game Day.

Admission will be $5; MAC cards will be accepted.


  • Coaching Record Update Form must be electronically submitted no later than Monday, August 5, 2019To be considered for All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Coach, you must submit the Coaching Record Update Form 
  • All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Coaches will be selected on Wednesday, August 7.
  • Player Nomination forms must be electronically submitted by Wednesday, August 7.
  • All-Star Slow Pitch Sofball Player Selection will be Wednesday, August 14.
  • All-Star Player Participation Forms (to be submitted online) & School Physical (fax to 601-924-3050) are due back by Thursday, August 22.
  • Ads are due no later than Wednesday, September 4.
  • Players will report on Saturday, October 26 at 9:30 AM.  Reporting Instructions will be available 2 weeks prior to game day; be sure to check the website at that time to download them.
  • The 2019 All-Star Slow Pitch Softball Games will be played Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Mack Fanning Field (Newton County High School) in Decatur, MS.
    • The first game of the best of 2 of 3 series will begin at 12:00 noon followed by game two, then game three (if necessary).

Be sure to review the guidelines to ensure that your players are eligible.

Softball Guidelines

I. Selection of Coaches:
•  Must be a current member of the M.A.C.
• Must have been a member of the M.A.C. for at least three (3) consecutive years.
• Must have been a head high school softball coach in a MHSAA school for at least three (3) years.
• Must have a lifetime winning record in softball.
• Must have been in State Playoffs at least once in last three (3) years.
• Can only coach in one all-star game per year.
• Must abide by the M.A.C. Code of Ethics.
• Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
• Each All-Star Coach will receive $100.00 honorarium.
• Must have demonstrated by past performance that he/she will fulfill all commitments he/she made concerning his/her all-star player(s) as required and specified to by the M.A.C.
• Recommendations for these All-Star Coaches come from M.A.C. Softball Committee based on nomination forms submitted by individual coaches; final approval by the M.A.C. Executive Committee.
II. Selection of Players:
Slow Pitch players must be a senior graduating with her regular class and in good standing with MHSAA,MAC, respective school & coaching staff. 
Fast Pitch players must be a junior in good standing with MHSAA, MAC, respective school & coaching staff.
• Must respond to all dated material by the date requested.
• Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
• Must not be pregnant.
• Must exhibit positive attitude to those in charge at all times.
• Cannot wear earrings in practices or games.
** A player or coach may be dismissed from the All-Star team at any time by the MAC Executive Director for not complying with these guidelines.
III. To be eligible for selection, all player nominations must be electronically submitted on the M.A.C. website five working days before the date of the Selection Committee Meeting.
