The 2027 Mississippi Sports Medicine North/South All-Star Basketball Games are scheduled for Friday, March 19 & Saturday, March 20, 2027 at A.E. Wood Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi Christian University in Clinton, MS.
Admission will be $10; MAC Cards will be accepted.
IMPORTANT DATES:
- Coaching Record Update Forms must be electronically submitted by Wednesday, October 21.
- All-Star Basketball Coaches will be selected on Wednesday, November 4.
- All-Star Basketball Player Nomination Forms must be electronically submitted by Wednesday, January 6, 2027. Please be sure to select the appropriate form!
- ​The Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Basketball Games are for Senior players only.
- The Mississippi Sports Medicine North/South All-Star Basketball Games are for Junior players only.
- Basketball All-Stars will be selected Wednesday, January 13, 2027.
- All-Star Basketball Player Participation Forms must be submitted by Wednesday, January 20.
- North/South All-Star Basketball Team Meetings will be held the following dates:
- ​The North Team will meet at Tupelo High School Gym at 1 PM on Sunday, January 31.
- The South Team will meet at the Oak Grove High School Gym at 2 PM on Sunday, January 31.
- North/South Basketball All-Stars will report on their respective Game Day: Friday, March 19 or Saturday, March 20. Reporting Instructions are listed on our website under All-Star Player Information; be sure to download them.
- 2027 Mississippi Sports Medicine North/South All-Star Basketball Games will be played Friday, March 19 & Saturday, March 20, 2027 at A.E. Wood Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi Christian University in Clinton, MS.​ The Coliseum parking lot is located on Highway 80 between Springridge Road (I-20 Exit 36) and Clinton-Raymond Road (I-20 Exit 35). Admission will be $10; MAC Cards will be accepted. The Mississippi Sports Medicine North/South All-Star Basketball Games will be livestreamed through MAC Network, Roku, AppleTV, YouTube & Firestick. ​
- GAME DATES & TIMES:
- 1A/2A/3A/4A Girls' Game: Friday, March 20 at 5 PM
- 1A/2A/3A/4A Boys' Game: Friday, March 20 at approximately 6:30 PM
- 5A/6A/7A Girls' Game: Saturday, March 21 at 2PM
- 5A/6A/7A Boys' Game: Saturday, March 21 at approximately 3:30 PM

Guidelines North/South All-Star Basketball Games
I. Selection of Coaches:
• Must be a current member of the M.A.C.
• Must have been a member of the M.A.C. for at least three (3) consecutive years.
• Must have been a head high school basketball coach in a MHSAA school for at least three (3) years.
• Can only coach in one all-star game per year.
• Must abide by the M.A.C. Code of Ethics.
• Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
• Each All-Star Coach will receive an honorarium.
• Must have demonstrated by past performance that he/she will fulfill all commitments he/she made concerning his/her all-star player(s) as required and specified to by the M.A.C.
• Recommendations for these All-Star Coaches come from M.A.C. Basketball Committee based on nomination forms submitted by individual coaches; final approval by the M.A.C. Executive Committee.
II. Selection of Players:
• A maximum of two (2) players on each team can be selected from the same school.
• Must be a junior in good standing with MHSAA, MAC, respective school & coaching staff.
• Must respond to all dated material by the date requested.
• Female players must not be pregnant.
• Must cooperate with the M.A.C. in the sale of ads.
• Must exhibit positive attitude to those in charge at all times.
• Male & female players cannot wear earrings in practices or games.
** A player or coach may be dismissed from the All-Star team at any time by the MAC Executive Director for not complying with these guidelines.
III. To be eligible for selection, all player nominations must be electronically submitted on the M.A.C. website five working days before the date of the Selection Committee Meeting.
